Neautral Density: ND filters offer a f-stop reduction value which lets you slow down the shutter speed or use a larger aperture in bright light conditions. Neutral Density filters have their unique applications and offer the opportunity of achieving differently inconceivable results. ND filters reduces the amount of light reaching the sensor. This creates a more natural-looking motion blur that smoothes out footage and helps reduce the appearance of ‘jello’ effects from the camera’s rolling shutter. They are able to also be used for reducing lens flare even as shooting into the sun and for toning down highlights even as filming outdoors.

Linear Polarizer: A polarizing filter reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass, darkens the sky providing better contrast, and can saturate the image more by eliminating unwanted reflections. When filming from a quadcopter, a large amount of light is reflected back up towards the camera, the polarizer reduces the amount of glare bouncing off the ground.
